KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A new mural right outside of Western Michigan University’s campus is showcasing school spirit this summer.
The mural was a partnership between the university’s murals class and artist Brad Zenz, a WMU alumni. After Zenz designed the work, he brought the students in to help bring the piece to life while getting a look at the business side of the art world.
The mural at the Campus Pointe plaza showcases the school’s hockey program — fresh off a national title — its football program, a rendition of the university’s seal and both the current and vintage logos.
