A longtime supporter of the arts, Jimmy and his wife Pam have been avid (and eclectic) art collectors for over 45 years. Their deep appreciation for the visual arts extends to active involvement in arts communities, including long-standing support of ESAC dating back to the tenure of Executive Director Robin Fitzhugh.
After a 41-year career with Southern Company—most of it with Alabama Power—Jimmy retired in 2017, having served in a variety of roles that often involved collaboration with nonprofit organizations. He and Pam moved to Fairhope full-time in 2021, though they have owned property in the area for nearly 30 years and were part-time residents for 15 years.
Jimmy brings to the board not only his professional expertise and community experience but also a genuine passion for the arts. He and Pam enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren, as well as traveling and continuing their lifelong journey as art enthusiasts…
