Tennessee Brotherhood Ride Rolls Through Rutherford County to Remember Detective Jacob Beu

Rutherford County, TN – If you were driving through Rutherford County on Sunday (6/22/2025) and spotted a group of bicyclists escorted by police vehicles, you witnessed a moving tribute in action. The Tennessee Brotherhood Ride made a heartfelt stop in Murfreesboro to honor Rutherford County Sheriff’s Detective Jacob Beu, one of 12 fallen first responders remembered during this year’s memorial journey.

Detective Beu, a U.S. Marine and dedicated law enforcement officer, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash on May 7, 2023. His legacy of service in both the patrol and detective divisions was celebrated by more than 20 cyclists and support volunteers from nine states, including Alabama, Kentucky, and Texas.

The Tennessee Brotherhood Ride spans three days and covers 250 miles, with each stop dedicated to a fallen hero in the county where they lived or served.
