MIDDLETOWN, DE — A 44-year-old Selbyville man was arrested on multiple felony drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of cocaine in his vehicle, authorities announced on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on June 18, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., when Detectives from the New Castle County Police Drug and Human Trafficking Investigations Team observed a Cadillac committing several traffic violations while traveling along Route 1 near Pole Bridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver, identified as Alfonzo Johnson, was contacted as the sole occupant of the car.
