UPDATE: Additional Charges Filed in Gluckstadt Drug Investigation

The Gluckstadt Police Department has announced additional charges in the ongoing narcotics investigation involving Kendarius M. Bess, originally arrested on May 27.

Bess appeared before Gluckstadt Municipal Court this afternoon, where he was formally charged with two counts of Trafficking by Sale of a Controlled Substance in a Restricted Area. These new charges come as part of continued investigative efforts, which have now led to the recovery of approximately 19,000 multi-colored pills suspected to contain fentanyl.

“I want to put those who think it’s okay to come to the City of Gluckstadt and sell narcotics on notice,” said Chief Barry Hale. “The Gluckstadt Police Department will not tolerate this, and we will go to the ends of the earth to make sure you are caught, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent.”…
