Allentown DUI suspect stabs woman who tried to stop him from fleeing crash, cops say

A Montgomery man is accused of being drunk at double the legal limit when he struck a parked car and then stabbed a woman who attempted to stop him from fleeing last week.

Daniel Francisco Santiago, 27, of Willow Grove is charged with felony burglary; two counts felony aggravated assault; misdemeanor possession of instruments of a crime; and misdemeanor DUI.

Santiago was arraigned Sunday before District Judge Karen C. Devine, who set bail at $25,000. In lieu of bail, Santiago was taken to the Lehigh County Jail, where he remained Monday…
