BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — If you have ever wondered where Gotham City is located, at least through July 26 you will be able to find it one hour south of Bakersfield. Six Flags Magic Mountain has turned its Metropolis area into a world of Batman complete with plenty of heroes and villains.
There was a Batman show last year at the theme park, but this is the first time DC and Six Flags have collaborated on something of this scale. It is a fully immersive, theatrical takeover of the park that drops guests right into the heart of a cosmic showdown between heroes and villains.
The “DC Heroes & Villains Festival” is a full-day experience that transforms the park into Gotham City, complete with Broadway-level production, original film-style scoring, and a five-hour storyline told across 15 scripted performance moments…
