ISP K9 Knox receives new bulletproof vest from Vested Interest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) —  An Indiana State Police dog in Fort Wayne now has a new bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a donation from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

State police say the non-profit organization sponsored the vest for K9 Knox and included the embroidered message, “This gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.”

The group says it was established in 2009 as a charity dedicated to providing protective vests and assistance to law enforcement dogs across the United States. Their mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States…
