SpartanNash to be sold at end of year in $1.77B deal

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan-based SpartanNash is set to be sold at the end of this year, it announced Monday.

The grocery store chain is set to be sold to C&S Wholesale Grocers in a $1.77 billion deal, SpartanNash said in a release. Shareholders will receive $26.90 per share.
