FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — New details have been released in the case where a Fairhope woman was killed and her husband seriously injured.

Preliminary autopsy results for 67-year-old Nanette Smith revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma. Investigators told News 5 they believe the weapon was a golf club.
