A popular bar and restaurant in West Berkeley has announced that it is closing its doors for good.
El Patio, a bar and restaurant serving Mexican and Venezuelan dishes, has announced on Instagram that it is closing in July. No reason was given in the post, though.
“We’ve watched kids grow up and eat their first limes here. We’ve seen people on first dates and some even get married after that first date,” the post read. “We’ve been here for your celebrations of life, birthdays and even weddings. We rocked a pandemic together and through your support kept us alive and all our employees employed.”…
