Beatles Museum moves From Dunedin to Downtown St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (BLOOM) — The Penny Lane Beatles Museum, a longtime attraction in Dunedin, is relocating to downtown St. Petersburg, where it will expand into a historic building nearly four times the size of its current space.

According to a report by the Tampa Bay Times, the museum will move into the Palais Royale building, a 1926 structure located at 146 Second St. N., just blocks from several of the city’s major cultural institutions. The new facility is expected to open in mid-2026.

Founded by Dr. Robert Entel, a radiologist and lifelong Beatles collector, the museum has operated out of a small, second-floor suite in downtown Dunedin since 2017. At just 560 square feet, the current location has limited the number of items that could be displayed at one time…
