MARION, Ohio (WCMH) – A Michigan woman is dead after running a stop sign and being hit by a pickup truck in Marion County Monday, according to police.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Marion Post is investigating the crash, which happened at approximately 11:35 a.m. at the intersection of Prospect Upper Sandusky Road North and State Route 309.
According to police, a 2025 Jeep Compass, driven by Tracy Christian, 61, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, was traveling south on Prospect Upper Sandusky Road when the vehicle ran a stop sign. The Jeep was then hit by a 2013 Ford F150, driven by a 34-year-old Marion man. The Jeep then drove off the southeast side of the road, hitting a building. The pickup truck drove off the southeast side of the intersection.
