CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Wounded Nature Working Veterans Monday, in partnership with the state Department of Natural Resources and local agencies, began removing and destroying abandoned boats in the Stono River.
Working with SCDNR dive teams, Charleston Police Department, Charleston Public Works, North Charleston Fire Department, and Charleston County Landfill, crews floated, removed, and destroyed two abandoned boats.
