HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Evansville firefighters were called to an early morning house fire on Monday.
How to keep pets safe during the recent heat
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of South Morton Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they could see flames shooting out of the attic, and it took nearly 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
The fire also melted the siding of another home next door. Everyone inside the homes were able to get out safely, and the Red Cross is now assisting with temporary housing. The cause of the fire is now under investigation…
