How to apply to be an extra in upcoming film projects

Last month, Gov. Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 22, allowing the Texas Comptroller to deposit $300 million into the state’s filming fund every two years. How to apply

  1. Go to My Casting File.
  2. Set up your profile by providing your eye color, hair color, height, weight, tattoos, piercings, etc.
  3. Upload one headshot and one full-body shot.
  4. Optional: provide your availability, skills + abilities, and experience, which may help you land bigger roles.
  5. Or, select “Open Calls” at the top and peruse the list of roles available.
