WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser will kick off the Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP), which is coming back for its 46th year.
The initiative is locally funded and provides young people in the nation’s capital with summer work experiences through subsidized placements in private and government sectors. People ages 14 to 24 can get involved in the program.
