BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A wildfire south of the Boise Airport that burned more than 100 acres has been successfully contained by firefighters.
The fire, which was first reported around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, started on Pleasant Valley Road just north of Kuna Mora. The fire quickly spread to an estimated 113 acres, according to Watch Duty. CBS2 contacted the Idaho Department of Corrections to determine what actions were being taken if the fire began to threaten correctional facilities, but were told the fire was contained and did not pose a threat to any facilities or residents…
