EEOC lawsuit alleges nursing home discriminated against workers over 40

A New Mexico nursing home allowed a supervisor to harass employees over 40 and later fired two women who claimed discrimination, according to a lawsuit filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The June 18 civil action requests a jury trial for South Valley Care Center, which the EEOC said subjected “a class of aggrieved individuals to harassment because of their age … and failed to prevent and correct this harassment.”
