SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — With temperatures in the 90s, Syracuse residents are finding ways to beat the heat with sweet treats and free, outdoor activities.
Aya McCorkale, a Syracuse resident, decided to celebrate her summer birthday at Gannon’s Isle Ice Cream with her family.
“Syracuse is usually always hot around this time, but this week…it just seems to be hotter,” McCorkale said. “…because it’s super hot, we decided to take the girls to get ice cream instead of staying in the house.”…
