Mobile groundbreaking set for city-funded affordable housing

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — City leaders are set to break ground on the first home in the Campground neighborhood, as part of the City of Mobile’s new city-funded Housing Improvement Plan.

The groundbreaking ceremony is set for Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 1151 Congress Street in Mobile, according to a Mobile City Council news release.
