Nash woman charged with insurance fraud

RALEIGH — A Nash County woman was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts each of insurance fraud and obtaining property by false pretense.

Amanda Jo Mincolla, 36, of 13260 N.C. Highway 231 south of Middlesex, was taken into custody after special agents with the North Carolina Department of Insurance Criminal Investigations Division say she provided fraudulent photos and police reports to the United Services Automobile Association, or USAA — a financial services organization that helps members with banking, insurance and investment needs.
