Judge rules mother facing robbery charges be held behind bars through trial

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A mother accused of attacking and robbing a man with her 13-year-old son after he got off an Albuquerque bus will be held behind bars while awaiting trial. Tatiana Vigil is facing robbery, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor charges.

Police say on June 5, Vigil and her son attacked and robbed a man after he got off the bus. Judge David Murphy ruled Vigil will be held on these charges through trial. The 13-year-old is not facing charges in this incident. However, he is facing charges for a stabbing attack on June 8th.

Security video captured Vigil watching as a man, identified as Angelo Ray, and her son attack and rob a man near the Smoke City smoke shop on Central. The video shows the teen looking over at the woman before stabbing the victim in the leg. Police say Ray and the teen then took $250 and a bike before walking away. Vigil is not facing charges in this case…
