ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– The Albany Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on Clinton Avenue Monday night. According to police, a 15-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to his back.

Around 11 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to the 500 block of Clinton Avenue near North Lake Avenue for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the child wounded.
Emergency medical personnel provided care to the victim before transporting him to the Albany Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to police, a preliminary investigation determined the shooter knew the victim. Police said an investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing…
