BROADALBIN — A woman was killed after the personal watercraft she was riding on collided with a boat Monday evening on Great Sacandaga Lake, officials said.
The fatal crash occurred around 6:15 p.m., according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. A preliminary investigation shows the watercraft ran into a pontoon boat just north of the town boat launch, Sheriff Richard Giardino said Tuesday morning. Grace Clark, 21, who was driving the watercraft, died in the collision, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. A passenger riding with her on the watercraft, 29-year-old Caleb Cummings of Schoharie County, was brought to Albany Medical Center for treatment. No one on the boat was injured, the sheriff’s office said.
