Woman, 77, arrested after pulling teen by collar to read apartment sign: New Port Richey police

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A 77-year-old woman was arrested last week after New Port Richey police said she grabbed a teenager against his will in an attempt to make him read an apartment complex sign.

The 14-year-old told officers that he was in a shaded area of an apartment complex when he was approached by Cynthia Astle.

According to the teen, Astle began yelling at him and asking him which apartment complex, telling him he did not belong there.
