Hopkinsville man arrested after argument turns physical

PEMBROKE, Ky. (WBKO) – A man was arrested after police heard about reports of an assault at a residence in Pembroke.

On June 22, Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies responded at approximately 5:25 PM to a reported assault at a residence in the 100 block of North Main Street. When they arrived, deputies met with the victim, who had visible injuries.

Witnesses reported that the suspect, 38-year-old Carl Lind, of Hopkinsville, and his girlfriend arrived at the property and began yelling at the victim. After a verbal exchange, the victim and Lind moved to a grassy area, where Lind allegedly shoved the victim to the ground, struck him multiple times with a closed fist, lifted him by the neck, and shoved him again…
