JUNIATA COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Juniata County and officers in a Lancaster County borough police department will join the growing list of immigration enforcers in Pennsylvania.
Juniata County Sheriff Joshua Stimeling confirmed the agency is in the process of signing a 287(g) agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The agreement delegates immigration enforcement authority to local law enforcement.
