Teen murders two family members amid an argument in Elk Grove, police say

(FOX40.COM) — An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with a double murder that happened Monday morning, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.

Around 5:35 a.m., EGPD responded to a call about a shooting inside a home in the 8200 block of Triplefin Way. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 51-year-old man and a 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

After an investigation, police said the shooting stemmed from an argument among family members. Noah Battaglia,18, was identified as the suspect. According to EGPD, Battaglia left the house before officers arrived. However, he was found two hours later at a house in South Sacramento.

Battaglia was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for alleged murder…
