Cedar Rapids Goodwill dealing with repeat theft, vandalism

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – During store hours, donations to Goodwill on Scotty Drive usually involve someone pulling bags and boxes out of their car, and a staff member collecting them.

But Retail Project Manager Kolbi Jamison says it’s not what happens during store hours that’s the problem – it’s what happens after. Specifically, repeat theft, vandalism, and improper donations.

As pictured below, the store saw piles of donations on the ground on Tuesday morning. The donation bins were also broken into, leaving clothing and other donations hanging out.
