FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – Neighbors along Blackhawk Avenue in Freeport will need to clear the streets for the next few weeks as crews make road repairs.
The city of Freeport says Fischer Excavating crews will start work Wednesday, June 25, beginning at the intersection of Blackhawk and Dewey Street and moving north toward Empire Street. Work is expected to wrap up by the end of July.
