SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Police say they are actively investigating a fatal pedestrian crash just before midnight on Monday in north Springfield.
According to SPD, a Toyota Camry was traveling east on Kearney Street, crossing over US-65, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital but died from their injuries.
