ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The city and county are working together to bring locals another Balloon Fiesta drive-in movie on Wednesday, June 25. The event is part of the second “Summer of Nonviolence.”

This time, the movie of choice is Grease. Attendees are encouraged to show up in themed costumes. “What better way to bring people together than with a timeless classic like Grease,” said Bernalillo County Commission Vice-Chair Adriann Barboa. “It’s a fun, throwback evening that brings the community together and reminds us all what peace and positivity are all about.”
The movie will be shown in the east parking lot. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie started at 8 p.m. Attendees can watch the movie from their vehicle or bring a lawn chair to use in a designated area near the screen. Audio can be accessed from car radios via a transmitter on 91.1 FM, or through speakers near the seating area…
