Faith-based group hold prayer vigil outside Spokane ICE building

SPOKANE, Wash. – Faith Leaders and Leaders of Conscience (FLLC) organized a gathering outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in downtown Spokane Tuesday. The event was a prayer vigil in the same place as where large protests probe out two weeks ago.

However, the event, called “Truthful Tuesday,” is described as not a protest, but rather a place to grieve and spread the golden rule: love thy neighbor.

“We were showing a love for community, with love for our neighbors and love for our country. And it’s not the division. It’s not snagging people. It’s not denying justice,” said Jessa Lewis, a member of Faith Leaders and Leaders of Conscience…
