KERNVILLE, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County firefighters are battling a three-acre fire in the Kernville area Tuesday night, said the department.
Officials said that the spread of the fire has slowed, but the fire activity remains high, even after the sun has set. Crews are working to further control its spread as of 10 p.m. It remains at three acres.
The so-called “Frandy Fire” reportedly started in the 11000 block of Kernville Road. The cause is unknown at this time…
