Trumpet vine seems to be everywhere in Amarillo. Multiple fences were covered in the bright reddish-orange flowers and thick leaves. It made me wonder if there is a reason why it seems like trumpet vine is slowly taking over Amarillo.

Why Trumpet Vine Thrives in Amarillo
Trumpet vines are hardy plants. By hardy, I mean that nothing seems to bother them at all. Our blistering summer heat? Trumpet vine won’t even notice…
