ALBANY — The man who allegedly menaced a federal prosecutor outside a downtown hotel last week will not face the attempted murder charge that was initially filed against him, Albany County District Attorney Lee Kindlon announced Wednesday.
Instead, he will face two misdemeanors in City Court.
“After further investigation of the evidence, including a review of the video surveillance footage that captured the incident that evening, we have decided to reduce Saul Morales-Garcia’s charges to menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree,” Kindlon said in a statement…
