Erie firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of East 26th Street.
Around 1:30 Wednesday morning, a fire broke out in the attic where electrical wiring was covered with blown-out insulation.
One person transported after fire breaks out at east side home
The incident was called in by someone who happened to be walking and woke up the occupants of the house.
The mother and two children who were home were able to escape with no injuries…
