‘Recipe for disaster’: Amarillo experts on dangers of kids riding adult ATVs

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – While riding ATVs can be a fun activity during summer, crashes can have serious and even deadly implications.

“So when we’re putting very young children in high-speed ATVs, unsupervised, that’s a recipe for a disaster to happen,” said Shelly Bohannon, executive director at The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center.
