CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The southbound lanes of the new Harbor Bridge are scheduled to open shortly after Saturday’s 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, Texas Department of Public Safety officials said in a news release Wednesday.
As 3NEWS previously reported, the ribbon-cutting to inaugurate the new bridge connecting Corpus Christi’s mainland to North Beach is scheduled to take place June 28, with local and state dignitaries scheduled to attend and make up the ceremonial motorcade that will christen the new Harbor Bridge .
