Chestnut Hill Nursery has announced it’ll be shutting the doors to its garden center after nearly five decades, although the landscape construction and maintenance departments will remain operational.

To share the news and outline future steps, the establishment took to Facebook, where they’ve built a community of dedicated customers over the years.
Their Facebook announcement reflected on their history: “In 1977 Jim and Deb Scocozza started Chestnut Hill Nursery. Almost a half century later, they have decided to close the retail garden center as they begin to prepare for the next chapter in their lives.”
