SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – From Hazlehurst to South Carolina to Tennessee, people have reported seeing a “fireball” in the sky this Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service of Charleston, SC has shared information from “satellite-based lightning detection” software which “shows a streak within cloud-free sky” over the North Carolina and Virginia border between 12:51 and 12:56 p.m.
