‘Viper in the sky’ returning to Henderson’s Audubon Chrysler sign

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — Audubon Chrysler Center is set to reinstall the iconic First Generation Dodge Viper R/T on its entrance sign along Highway 41 North.

Larry Bennett, the dealership’s owner, had the Viper removed last November for maintenance, which marked the second time in 29 years. The car underwent restorative body work, received fresh red paint, and protective coatings.

The 1996 Dodge Viper, acquired by Bennett as a new, never-before-titled vehicle, boasts only 12 miles on the odometer. It has been displayed in the dealership’s showroom for fans and customers to admire up close.
