Senior driver who collided with Brightline train in Pompano Beach calls survival a ‘miracle’

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – New details have emerged about the driver seriously injured when a Brightline train slammed into his car last Tuesday in Pompano Beach, sending the vehicle flipping into a city building.

Video from the scene showed the car flipped upside down, its engine block and a tire violently detached by the impact. The debris struck the city commission building, shattering a window.
