LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Some residents in Arkansas will soon be able to apply for financial assistance with their summer utility expenses.
Residents across 19 counties can apply for the Central Arkansas Development Council’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) July 7 through July 11. LIHEAP is a federal grant program that assists residents with electric bills during the summer and winter.
The counties are listed below:
- Pulaski County (2904 S. University Avenue, Little Rock) – July 7
- Saline County (321 Edison Avenue, Building B, Suite 4, Benton) – July 7
- Ouachita County (828 Visor Street, Camden) – July 8
- Hempstead County (112 E 12th Street, Hope) – July 8
- Union County (1426 NW Avenue, El Dorado) – July 9
- Hot Spring County (1303 S. Main Street, Malvern) – July 9
- Columbia County (100 Meadowbrook Lane, Magnolia) – July 10
- Clark County (1305 N 10th Street, Arkadelphia) – July 10
- Miller County (1900 Marietta Street, Texarkana) – July 11
- Lonoke County (616 N Center Street, Lonoke) – July 11
