AUSTIN (KXAN) — Glass from a high-rise downtown fell late afternoon Wednesday, the Austin Police Department confirmed with KXAN on Thursday.
According to the department, officers responded to a call shortly before 5 p.m. that reported a traffic hazard in the 300 block of West Sixth Street.

APD said officers spoke with a person whose vehicle had damage from a fallen glass panel. APD said there were a total of two vehicles damaged as a result of the incident.
