ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — New allegations are leveled against Asheville Academy for Girls and Trails Carolina by Jane Doe R.B. in a federal civil complaint filed in the U.S. District Court in Asheville.
R.B. who lives in Greenville, South Carolina, attended both Asheville Academy and Trails Carolina around the age of 14 for help with anxiety and depression, but instead of getting help, the complaint alleges she suffered systematic abuse and exploitation for over a year.
