Major Drug Operations Dismantled in Middlesex County as Somerville and Medford Residents Face Charges

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, in coordination with federal and local law enforcement, has announced the takedown of two separate drug operations in Middlesex County. The investigations resulted in the seizure of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other substances linked to high-level drug distribution.

According to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office release, on June 6, Massachusetts State Police searched a residence in Somerville and recovered 52 grams of suspected crack/cocaine, 68 grams of suspected fentanyl, suboxone strips, unidentified pills, drug paraphernalia, and $5,800 in cash. Felicia DiPietrantonio and Claude Pelissier were arrested and charged with drug offenses. Their arraignment is scheduled for August 25.

On June 10, a separate search was conducted at a Medford basement apartment following a two-month investigation by the DEA and local police. John Dinius was arrested and accused of producing counterfeit pills, including fake Adderall and Xanax, using methamphetamine. A pill press and a large quantity of counterfeit pills containing methamphetamine were seized. Dinius is being held on $75,000 bail and has a probable cause hearing scheduled for July 10…
