Millcreek Township came to a decision on whether or not to purchase the Zem Zem Shrine Club property after months of consideration, with dozens of Millcreek residents showing up at the township municipal building to speak out in favor or against the purchase.

Millcreek Township has been considering purchasing the 42-acre Zem Zem Shrine Club property on West 38th Street for months now, doing research and studies to explore the acquisition.
Thursday night, the supervisors finally came to a decision, voting 2-1 to move forward in purchasing the $3,635,000 property.
