FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Tonight’s Tread the Trails event in Fort Wayne is canceled due to excessive heat.
The next event is set for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at Life Bridge Church, located at 12719 Corbin Road. The Fort Wayne Area Trails Network features 153 miles of trails, with 107 miles within the city limits, maintained by the City of Fort Wayne under the leadership of Mayor Sharon Tucker.
Participants can look forward to free guided runs and walks every other Thursday during the summer, with distances of 5k and 10k. These events are family-friendly, catering to all ability levels, and include a “sweeper” to ensure no one is left behind…
